LA RELEVE
The association ++1 is implementing an innovative project to support dance in Switzerland through the commitment and support of young dancers : the “Relève project”.
The objective is to contribute to the reinvention of dance education, the transmission and performing practice of dance. A rigorous art at a competitive level that involves requirements and know-how that are rarely dispensed in our time. This is why dancers need to acquire and access more stage experiences specifically related to dance to reach their full potential.
For this, we have initiated a collaboration with the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company (DFDC) of which Ioannis Mandafounis is the artistic director since the 2023-24 season : the DFDC will hire 3 Swiss dancers - Sarah Bucher, Audrey Dionis, Solène Schnüriger - as part of its team for the upcoming season.
objectives:
- annual contracts renewable over a period of 3 to 4 years
- dancing in the company’s 3 annual programs of the DFDC
- support of their personal choreographic work (coaching with dedicated mentor)
- co-production and presentation of their personal work in Switzerland and abroad
- international touring with the pieces of the repertoire.
